It may be recalled here that noted director K Raghavendra Rao who gave two big devotional hits like 'Annamayya' and 'Sriramadasu' with Nagarjuna is now planning a film with Balakrishna in the lead.

The film's title was also confirmed as 'Rangaa… Pandurangaa…'. The film is being made with the concept of the late NT Ramarao's film 'Sri Panduranga Mahatmyam'.

Balakrishna is playing dual roles in the film as Lord Panduranga and also his devotee Sri Pundareeka. The story and script are being prepared by JK Bharavi, who gave scripts for 'Annamayya and Sriramadasu'.

Keeravani is again teaming up with Raghavendra Rao for this film to provide tunes. It is reliably learnt that Sneha, who gave an excellent performance in Sriramadasu, is being roped in as heroine in this film.

The regular shooting of this film would begin in March and Nayanatara is being considered as another heroine in this film.
